Do you love to bargain shop and hunt for amazing finds? Then the annual Chester ‘Town-wide Treasures’ yard sale is for you. Treasures await you as we have over 50 families participating in this sale which takes place at private residences throughout Chester on Saturday, September 17th, 2016 from 9am-3pm. Antiques, collectibles, and furniture are some of the items you will find at the sales.

In addition, be sure to stop by and visit the Community Yard Sale at the Chester First Aid Squad Building, 100 North Rd. Come browse for bargains from a dozen sellers, enjoy free popcorn, free blood pressure screening, and other activities. Sellers at this location are helping to raise money for the Chester First Aid Squad, so be sure to show your support!

The yard sale location map is available by clicking here or at the Chester Township & Chester Borough Municipal Buildings, or pick up your map at the Chester First Aid Squad building or Chester Library on Saturday morning. Please note that the locations on the map are not perfect, but the addresses are correct. Shoppers are encouraged to use their own maps or GPS devices to locate the listed addresses.

Registration open for town-wide yard sale

Townwide Treasures Yard Sales

September 17 @ 9:00 AM3:00 PM

The Chester First Aid Squad is once again partnering with Chester Township and Chester Borough to organize the popular annual Town-wide Treasures Yard Sale. The event will be held on Saturday, September 17th, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m, with a rain date of Sunday, September 18th.

As in past years, participants can set up at their homes, and for a $10 fee be
listed on a master list on a town-wide Google map. This is a convenient method for treasure hunters and sellers alike. Last year over 40 households participated in the event.

As an alternative to setting up at home, household sellers are invited to display their wares at the centrally-located Chester First Aid Squad (CFAS) headquarters location at 100 North Road across from Black River Middle School in Chester. A tax-deductible donation to CFAS of $20 is requested. Participants should bring one or two tables; chairs will be provided. CFAS will provide free popcorn, and soda and water will be available for sale as a fundraiser.

For more information, please email: recreation@chestertownship.org. If you are a household seller, or commercial/retail vendor and would like to participate, register at: http://register.communitypass.net/chestertwp
