Thursday, April 20 @ 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Dip into a vat of delectable delights: find out how a boy with a 4th-grade education became the world famous “Chocolate King.” Expected to be a family farmer, fired as an apprentice, Hershey became an innovative entrepreneur, world-famous producer of chocolate, philanthropist, creator of a town built on chocolate, and founder of The Hershey Company. The instructor will provide a savory confection of dreams, drive, struggle, failure, and successful capitalism – all in the pursuit of chocolate. Samples will be provided. Lecture by Daniel Rose.
