Vegetation Management in April, May

The Borough of Chester’s Department of Public Works will be conducting “Right of way vegetation management” for the next thirty days. All treated areas within parks/public areas will be marked with flags reading “Pesticide Treated Area.” Residents are advised to avoid these areas until the flags are removed. Areas to be treated include, but not limited to, the following locations:

Road sides – At or near fire hydrants, street signs, vegetation control

Grove St. Park – poison ivy control

Collis Lane Ball Fields and adjoining Park – poison ivy control

Municipal Buildings – poison ivy and vegetation management.
