Welcome To Our New Website

Welcome to the new Borough of Chester website. Designed with our users in mind, the website is now easier to navigate, is compliant with all Federal ADA requirements, and will provide easier access to Borough documents and processes.

In the future, construction permit applications, permit history, assessor property record cards and other Borough forms and requests will be available via this website.  Please be patient.  This is a work in progress.  During the pandemic, one of the main challenges we faced was the ability of our staff to continue to provide you with the service you expect. While the staff had access to Borough records via our server, it was difficult to provide residents and others the paper permits, etc., that were needed for them to continue doing business. Eventually, utilizing this website, the Borough staff will be able to provide quick, responsive answers to your requests.

Spacial Data Logic (SDL) is a leader in municipal management software.  The Borough Council authorized the use of monies granted to the Borough via the American Rescue Plan to contract with SDL for this new site. It is a goal of the Council and myself and most importantly the Borough administration and staff to continue to provide you, our taxpayers, with the information you need when you need it. Again, we ask for your patience during this transition.
