Vegetation Management from May - June 2023

The Borough of Chester will be performing vegetation management during the months of May and June 2023 in the following areas:

Roadways-At or near hydrants, signs, and guardrails

Grove St Park- Along walking path, near benches, around trees and curbing

Mine Hole- Parking area and path

Collis Ln- Ball Fields along fence and curbing

Collis Ln- Shadow Ridge leach field along curbing, around trees and inspection lids

Main St.-Gazebo Park around trees and mulch

Municipal Building-Around entrances, mulch, trees, and paths

Oakdale Rd- Sewer plant around buildings and tanks

Seminary Ave-Field House along curbing, mulch, and around trees

Additional areas may be treated as necessary in accordance with the Borough’s integrated vegetation management strategy and subject to change. Visitors are urged to avoid areas marked with white flags labeled “Pesticide Treated Area” until removed.
