As mandated by the U.S. Constitution, America gets just one chance each decade to count its population. The U.S. Census counts every resident in the United States. It is mandated by Article I, Section 2 of the Constitution and takes place every 10 years.

Each year, the Federal Government earmarks about $675 billion for programs and services that impact the local community. These programs include education, affordable housing, transportation, road improvement, and healthcare, to name a few. Now more than ever, it is so important to make sure we are fully counted to help ensure our share of Federal dollars.
