The Zoning Department is responsible for the Borough’s use and regulation of structures, land, and buildings.

The Zoning Application requires you to provide a correctly scaled property survey with the application, and show the proposed work drawn to scale including setbacks, height, dimensions, etc.

Examples of Zoning Permits include patios, fences, decks, pools, signs, basements, alterations, and sheds.

Sign permits are required for all wall, free-standing, temporary, and banner-type signs prior to their installation.

Shed permits are required regardless of their size.

If you are a new business in the Borough or changing tenants, a New Business License Packet is required.

Please make sure the area is zoned for the proposed use.

Applications deemed incomplete will be denied.
