Redesign of Hillside/Budd Ave/Grove St/Main St Intersection
Chester Borough Residents:
Regarding the Main St. road closure due to the redesign of the Hillside/Budd Ave/Grove St/Main St intersection, please see diagram below.
Construction should commence on or about March 20th. The contractor of the project will deliver notices to the business owners and residents as discussed at the pre-con meeting prior to beginning construction. We have not received the contractor’s official construction schedule yet.
As far as the project cost and grant amount they are as follows:
Construction Contract Amount: $347,016.13
NJDOT Grant Amount: $291,700.00
This project resulted from a grant from the NJDOT in partnership with Morris County.
